On July 1, 2016,  Sungmoo Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Co. Ltd. Co., Ltd. concluded a Memorandum of Understanding with the Exploratory Oncology Research & Clinical Trial Center (EPOC) of the National Cancer Institute (NCI) South Korea for cooperation on the development of next-generation pathology diagnostic systems and diagnosis support systems that leverages the advancements in information technology, and collaboration on research of histology applications for practical use.
